sunday service

Our church service is at 10am on Sundays. This usually includes singing, prayers and a message.

Children join us for the first few songs, and are then invited to attend the King’s Kids programme in the adjacent hall. Sometimes our services are intergenerational whānau services, and children will stay in church with the rest of the congregation.

A crèche is available for the littlies, or they’re welcome to stay in church with their caregivers (child/toddler activities are available at the back of the church).

After the service, everyone is invited to the adjacent church hall for morning tea. We'd love for you to join us. There is a playground and playroom for the children to play after the service, and a hangout area for teens with a pool table, darts etc. Parents are to be responsible for the supervision of their children during this time.

Ange and Nick de Matos

We look forward to hearing from Nick and Ange de Matos who will be sharing about their walk with God

.

Nick and Ange de Matos have been appointed in the new Waiau Pā Church Youth Co-ordinators role. Originally from South Africa, they came to New Zealand in 2014 after living in England for 6 years. Nick and Ange have been living and working at Chosen Valley Christian Camp in Ararimu for the past 3 and half years. They love Jesus, and have been involved in Children and Youth Ministry for many years. Together with their boys Jayden (14) and Ben (11) they enjoy the outdoors, camping, the beach and going on new adventures. They're excited to be joining the community of Waiau Pā and serving within the children's and youth ministry of our church.
